Book Giveaways
                 
Several Book Giveaways are scheduled throughtout the year.  Mardi Gras, Easter, Halloween and others for example, at Kingwood Town Center, Shopping Centers and Elementary Schools.  Many thanks to Chris Pieknik, Carolyn Mashburn, Jan Resell, Janie Branham and all volunteers who help to make this project possible.  We are always in need of volunteers so please, feel free to jump in and help.

                    Readers Love Teachers

At book giveaways, students nominate a favorite teacher and describe what special things that teacher does.  Every month during the school year we have a drawing from among those who were nominated and go to the winner's school to honor the teacher with a certificate and a $25 check.   Recent winners are:

Ms. Bennett, Groves Elementary
